As a former minister, I struggle with the Church of America today. Wrapped up in politics and culture wars, I find it difficult to see a Body of Christ living out His greatest commandment- to love God and to love others as yourself.

The message of Jesus is about grace, not condemnation. But in this age of 'gotcha' and believing that it is better to be right than to be loving, we need to find our way back.

This book is an analysis of historical American Christianity as well as current trends from the politicization to the commercialization of Christianity.
